Hi Daniel sisters and family.

I hope you are getting excited about your trip to Fort Lauderdale and your cruise on the Celebrity Solstice.  Its going to be a great vacation!

You will be arriving at the cruise terminal also known as "Port Everglades".  It is a 5 minute taxi ride from the FLL airport.  If you want to travel to Miami, there are shared rides and shuttles from the MIA airport to Port Everglades specifically for this purpose.  Travel time is about one hour.  I suggest you plan a back up with plenty of lead time to allow for transportation issues.  The ship sails at 4:30 EST, which means, practically, that you need to be at the terminal by 3:00 at the latest.  I would shoot for noon, as you can board the ship as soon as you clear inprocessing.

For those interested in airfare, there are a couple of links that can help you arrange the trip.  Celebrity has an in-house airfare section called Choice Air.

Not included in most booking engines is Southwest Airlines, which operates out of SFO, SJC,OAK, FLL,BOS,PVD, MHT, STL, and MDW.  I think that covers all the likely destinations.

Rita asked me to put some information on the beverage packages available for additional purchase.  Click here to view.
